IMMERSION MASTER CLASS (IMC2) WITH MARGIE LAWSON
A group of writers gathered in Dallas to taste the Magic of Margie Lawson in an intense four day workshop. We’ve since stayed in touch with each other.
Clockwise from lower left: Laura Martello, Carole St. Laurent, Lisa Miller, Susannah Curtis, Sherry Isaac, moi, and Margie.
We’re smiling now. We had no clue what Margie planned for us–method acting for some of our scenes. MALACHAI! [You had to be there to appreciate.]
MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS CONFERENCE, SEPTEMBER, 2011
My best friend, writing and critique buddy, and I were honored to be named finalists in the MAGGIES–an RWA contest hosted by Georgia Romance Writers.
Sherry, for her Paranormal Romance, HOMECOMING, and me in the Contemporary Single Title Category for COLOR MY WORLD (since retitled ALL INN).
OF COURSE we had to be in Atlanta for their rocking GALA.
Oh. And the conference, of course–a venue filled with workshops both varied and informative. I want to go back and do it all over again.
Work, work, work. Phew!

I am putting together a March Bookfest and want you to read about it. Thaks 🙂
What a wonderfully fun event, Gloria. I have met a few writer friends from all over the country and would relish the opportunity to meet up with them in “real life” someday. This is a great photo of all you beautiful ladies.
And though I am a smidgen late, congrats to you on the nomination! Looking forward to more of your writing to come.
Love to you!
